Good things come in small packages

Before I got hold of a GoPro or Contour miniature camera, I was ecstatic about the small(er) size of the 7D for remote mounting compared to the much larger Sony EX1 video camera.

A Canon 7D was used for some POV shots of a Maserati.

Below is the video with the 7D.

Plus, bouncing a $1,700 7D off the ground was better than a $6,500 EX1 or at least that’s how I rationalized it.

Along come the $299 GoPro and Contour miniature cameras. Cannon fodder. Bounce away I say.

A Contour miniature camera was used for POV shots of the E-Tracer.

Was my last post really over a year ago?

I’ve been squatting on this valuable piece of internet real estate that someone else could have used to build their digital McMansion. I don’t care though. I’ve been cooped up in my edit bay copyin’ and editin’ and generally thrashing about.
